Septic Tank
Septic Tank Today about 30 percent of American homes have a septic system. When a problem occurs the homeowner is probably looking at a very expensive bill, and possibly major damage to their property. There is another solution available if your problem is the drain field. You DO NOT have to replace the whole drain field. The Septic Genie is your alternative. It saves you time, money and damage to your property.

A residential septic system has four main components:
  • A pipe that runs from the home to the septic tank
  • The septic tank
  • The drain field
  • And the soil around the drain field
All plumbing fixtures from the home; toilets, showers, washing machines, sinks, they all drain into the pipe and then to the tank. Septic tanks can be made of concrete, fiberglass, or plastic. This is where the waste will separate. Solids that can settle will sink to the bottom as sludge, allowing solids that can float to rise to the top as scum. Accumulated sludge and scum in a tank will periodically have to be removed by pumping, as there is very little digestion going on in a conventional septic tank. Every time new waste water enters the tank, an equivalent amount is passed to the drain field for further treatment and disposal. The drain field can be referred to by many names but they all do the same job, they drain the wastewater into the soil. The soil, acting as a filter, will provide the final treatment by removing harmful bacteria, viruses, and nutrients.

When septic tank problems occur, you will often see raw sewage in your yard or back ups in your home. Eventually, the soil that surrounds the drain field becomes clogged and will not allow anything to pass through. This is caused by biomat. Biomat is a thick slime created by intestinal bacteria that clog the soil surrounding a drain field. This "gooey" layer is formed by microorganisms living in the liquid that is omitted from the tank. These microorganisms secrete a slime that will build up over years and clog the soil, which will restrict the flow and cause back ups. How can our product help you with this problem?
  • Our bacteria will digest about 90 percent of the biomat, eliminating pumping or replacement
  • If you have unpleasant septic odors, they normally dissipate within 24-36 hours
  • Septic Genie starts working as soon as the installation is complete
  • Easy to install
  • This is an absolutely natural process and completely environmentally friendly
  • Avoid costly replacement options and major property damage
When Septic Genie is installed in septic tanks it begins to work right away. Our bacteria will live and reproduce in the Genie that is installed in the tank, and then will be carried out with the liquid into the drain field. When they arrive, they will begin to eat and digest the biomat that has built up there. By eating the biomat, the flow of the liquid into the soil will be restored back to original functioning.
